Maasai Mara National Reserve
One of our favourite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Maasai Mara National Reserve. That is because the wildlife here is incredible, home to the cat family (Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights, not to mention black rhinos in the Mara Triangle. On a full day’s game drive, the chances of seeing wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas and impalas are high.
The golden Savanna landscape is clearly seen with many acacia trees, clear blue skies and an occasional oddly shaped tree. With the renowned lodges and camps we have partnered with, such as Sarova Mara Camp, Mara Maisha Luxury Camp, and Mara Serena Safari Lodge, your stay is luxuriously catered for while in the park. Explore Kenya gives more light to the Mara, and why it is Kenya’s hidden gem in its tourism circuit.

Amboseli National Park
Located in Loitoktok District, Kajiado County, Amboseli National Park is one of the largest national parks in Kenya. While here, you cannot take your eyes off Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The mountain might be located in Tanzania, but the best views of the mountain are from Amboseli. It’s a fantastic park for wildlife, too.
There are few places in Kenya where you can get this close to elephants, and the park is also famous for lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, wildebeests, giraffes and more.

Tsavo East and West National Park
Tsavo National Park is Kenya’s largest and one of the largest parks in the world. It comprises 2 separate parks, Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. It is best known for different bird species and large mammals, e.g. Black rhinos, leopards, hippos and Masai giraffes.
There are plenty of places to stay in the two parks, including Voi Wildlife Lodge and Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.

Samburu National Reserve
Located 200 miles north of Nairobi, Samburu National Reserve is among Kenya’s most well-known parks. Expect glorious scenery, four of the big five (no rhino), hyenas, giraffes, hippos and zebras. Samburu highlights include prized northern specialities such as Somali ostrich, gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe.
Almost 400 species of birds are within the reserve’s boundaries. The top accommodation places within the reserve are Samburu Simba Lodge, Samburu Sopa Lodge and Sarova Shaba Lodge.
